spent one weekend retreat at Nan-hua about three years ago - dunno if that counts - enjoyed it thou - and it started my interest in sincere Buddhist study - so am grateful. shocking with names and faces - so i may have met you if so hi how ya doing? and if not hi - good to meet you now -hope you well
What is metta - why does everyone seem to end thier communication with that? is it love?
So nice that you replied. Yes Kathy told me about the hell on earth that all of you experienced. It looks like they just find it difficult to learn from experience. Isn't it?

Not sure what you heard about Nan Hua, but we did have 22 months of absolute hell in the human realm. Fortunately with Ven. Hui-fang's return things are now slowly improving. Lots of damage control needed. Some things will possibly never return to their previous 'glory'. And while the dark energy is still around, there is always reason to 'tread lightly' and be very concerned.
But I shall comment more fully via email. I am sure I can fish it out of Kathy's mails. ;)

P.S. I believe the Tibetan Lama that you are 'meeting' in your photo is Geshe Damcho Yönten-la. Just in case you want to give it a better and more complete title.
