Hello. The conference was in Las Palmas, in a conference centre there. It was organised by a local 'transconfessional' association. Nice to hear from you. I see that you are interested in learning more about Buddhism. If I can help in any way, do message me. Warm wishes - D.
Compliments on a most beautiful page. Now that you have found Buddhism, you have access to the best range of 'tools' to handle life in Samsara. Use them well! Kathy
Hi Jenny, thanks for making connection. your page is very beautiful. may you connect with many good people and find ultimate happiness and peace. much love, Legden
Thanks for the contact.
I first read of The Dharma when I was in my late teens as well. It didn't "stick" the first time around, but then later it resurfaced and now I am studying to take the Precepts. Stick with it! Especially the sitting meditation. IT is the heart of Zen.
Nice art by the way.
You have the coolest Buddhist page I've come across!

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I found this:

Well, I am a 17 yerars old girl....and i'm very interested in buddhism since i've read a book about Buddha and his teachings :) they were very pure and kind...just admirable =)
Here are some Buddha Quotes:
You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
He is able who thinks he is able.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
A man should first direct himself in the way he should go. Only then should he instruct others.
Your work is to discover your work and then with all your heart to give yourself to it. Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, We make our world.
All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions. Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else.
