Profile Information

Hometown:
Bremen, Germany
About Me:
We now live in Cairns, Queensland, Australia our home phone number is 07 404 12 405. There is a Tibetan Buddhist Centre here as well, called Khacha Yuloling, they are also on the web.
I call Australia home, Adelaide and a small place called Robertstown, which has given me a lot of space to meditate. My husband invited me to a White-Tara-retreat of Vajrayana Buddhism in 2001. Since then I have had some more powerful and rewarding initiations in the Vajrayana tradition. I am a fish-eating vegetarian, artist and global citizen ( I was born in Germany). In Adelaide we have started a meditation group at Upeksa Village with a Vietnamese Zen master. In Bremen, my hometown in Germany my husband and I are engaged in the Aikido Zen Club practicing Aikido, Iaido and Katori. 3 sites to visit for more information are: www.upeksavillage.org
and www.informartix.de or http://thienmeditation.ning.com. Would love to hear from you!

Hi Moona,
Thanks for the message you sent me, I would like to say that I am a practising buddhist, although on the other hand I am still very much a novice. I have mainly researched the philosophy of buddhism and have become more and more intrigued over the last couple of years. I did actually go along to the Upeksha Village a couple of weeks ago and will definitely go again.

My profile pic is in Paris, it was taken while my husband and I were on our honeymoon in 2006. What a beautiful place! I am originally from England and moved to Australia last year.
Nice to hear from you, have a good day!

Thanks Moona for your comments re-The Future Makers, it is a great film- simply because it shows what wonderful alternative energy solutions are at our fingertips if only we had governmental willpower to create change. Thank you for that reference- I have not read that book but will look out for it. all the best

Dear Moona

I didn't get to upeksha village, but thanks for the info. I found Buddhism in Adelaide a little sectarian, Buddhists from other groups didn't attend my talks, but Adelaide is a nice leafy city.

Hope all is well with you.

Very best wishes,
Sr Yeshe

Oh I've forgot to say. You can write to me direct rather than post message all the time because I come here that often.

Dear Moona,

Dear Moona,

Thanks for your reply! I will include Dominique into my daily prayer. Not sure you know the 'take and give' meditation. It is from the Tibetan Buddhism. This is a very powerful meditation.

Dear Moona,

I went to Upeksa Village last week and yes, Thay did mention you might come back. Love to meet you! Contemplating immanent death ~ This is one of my daily practises. I hope Dominique can see through our body is formed under conditions and compound of 4 elements. As Buddha said all compounded things are impermanent. We knew this body has no exception. Because of this body we suffer but we have to remember this too because of this body we can reach enlightenment.

Yes, I have been very busy working as you predicted. Work, work and work my life away! Sigh! It will be nice to get into a long retreat.

Please take care and have fun as we plod along with our daily trauma and problems. Let me know when you are back so I can visit you.

Bonjour Moona
J'espère que tu puisse avoir de bons souvenirs de la Belgique.
Si je bien compris, tu est Australienne. Moi aussi je suis un étranger ici en Belgique.
Je suis Brésilien et j'habite en Belgique depuis 2000.
A bientôt
;-)
