What is your daily practice ?

I have been thinking about my daily routine. What I could add, or delete, to gain more compassion for myself and others. I do sit every morning, yet recently I find this a bit stale. Taking the vow of the three jewels, filling the time, sitting just to sit. I also spend a lot of time each day on the bus, (I gave up my car a few years ago), and use my ridding time to practice Meta .... gently placing my attention on each fellow passenger, silently wishing them freed… Continue

TAKING REFUGE

So empty of what?
Learning to put on a monks robe in the heat of northern Thailand. Being the butt of all the jokes, and at least a foot taller than all the other young novices. Eating fire, sitting till my knees broke. Waking before dawn. Wanting it so bad. I thought this was cool.
