At 4:30am on May 12, 2008, Gen Kelsang Legden said…: Hi Steve, thanks for the email address and with regards to last Sunday, the course didn't take place in the end because of mothers day. we didn't realize and should have known better. But anyway, yes, we'll be having a half day course called "About Tantra" on June 1st. I will be leaving for the UK next saturday and therefore there won't be much of a programme until end of May. But after my return there will be a fully running programme again. The Tuesdays evenings have developed into a beautiful and committied group. Check the website www.meditation.org.za for more info. but please always feel free to contact me directly for any queries etc. keep well and would be great to see you soon.

About Me:

Hi I am Legden or Gen Kelsang Legden officially. I'm a monk since 1997 and the Resident Teacher of The Vajrpani Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Blairgowrie/Johannesburg where we have a fully qualified Centre with a regular programm for the public as well as a structured study programme for those who wish to deepen their Dharma understanding and also for those who wish to become Dharma teachers themselves. We follow Je Tsongkhap's Lineage and are affiliated with the New Kadampa Tradition, NKT. I have studied Buddhism intensely for 3 years in the UK and haven't stopped studying ever since.
