“The person who follows the Religion philosophy shall get the protection of the Religion philosophy”
Dear Sir,
I sincerely pray to the lord Buddha for you .
I would like to say that I am Bangladeshi Buddhist monk, now I am staying and studying in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Thailand.
I know about you who are staying there I want to joining with you any kinds of Buddhist work. I will agree to discuss about the matter I am looking forward to meeting you soon.
I believe that you will be given me opportunities to build my Buddhist noble life.
Did you know that Words of My Perfect Teacher was made into a film a few years ago? The promo for it on youtube looks a little over the top, but I'm tempted to take a chance.
I just recently learned about the Kurukulla Center in Boston. It seems like you are in a good place for following Tibetan Buddhist studies.
I would say the most dominant thing about me is that i've always been a very creative person, doing everything from all kinds of arts and crafts to fine art. I finally found my knack in media arts and am currently a graphic designer living in Boston, MA. This is my hometown of which I just came back to after a long 6 year journey living out in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I think very fondly of Santa Fe and consider it my other home-town.
I went out to New Mexico when I was 19 years old, was alone and didn't know a single person. It was definitely quite the adventure. I planned to only stay about a year, but ended up loving it and staying for many. Some of my biggest growth came from what I learned living on my own in one of the most beautiful places in the southwest. It's truly a geological wonderland with such a diverse southwestern landscape that's breathtaking. Every day at dusk was a kodak sunset, with a sky as big as the ocean. You can see for miles and miles without any buildings or obstructions. It's truly amazing. The people are very friendly and family orientated. It's rich with culture and is a very spiritual place where the meaning of sacred and faith has not yet been forgotten.
I came back home to finish up schooI that was concentrated in Graphic and Interactive Design. I've always heard that some of the best schools are here on the east coast, so I came to take advantage of what my home-town had to offer. Other than the visual arts, I also find passion in all kinds of music. I'm pretty open to anything as long as it's creative, tasteful and shows talent. I also enjoy reading. I like anything from historical non-fiction to completely made-up abstract fiction. One of my favorites I currently read was "Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut.
I'm an aspiring Buddhist who's currently studying and practicing all that I can to follow the path of Buddhism. I've always been very spiritual as a young girl, and Buddhism has always sparked my interest, but only till about 5 years ago I started reading and teaching myself all that I could get my hands on with Buddhism. The last book I read at that period in time was - "The Words Of My Perfect Teacher." For those of you who have read it, you know that It's a pretty thorough book and is a great foundation for a beginner practitioner.
Over the past couple years, I somewhat lost touch of learning and practicing Buddhism. Only until recently I have picked it back up and am continuing on my path. I've recently been attending weekly practices at a local Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center which has been absolutely wonderful. I am so glad to be back engaged in Buddhism again. Aspiring to further my practice in the Dharma, meditation and become a master of my own mind.
